SKILLED LANDSCAPER - FULL TIME
We are looking for someone with experience and proven competency in carpentry and concrete-work to join our team providing a range of landscaping services. A genuine interest in landscaping and well-designed environments is important.
You will work as a team member on a wide variety of tasks:
Building / timberwork - decks, pergolas, screens, steps, fences, retaining walls
Concrete work - paths, driveways, steps, walls
Paving, brick and block work, stone laying
Lawns – seed, ready-lawn, artificial grass
Gardens – ground preparation, planting, pruning, occasional maintenance
This role requires someone who is organised and has the ability to problem-solve on-the-job, to interpret and implement conceptual drawings, and has an eye for detail.
You need to be hardworking, have a good work ethic and be committed to delivering a quality finish to your work. Honesty and reliability are essential, as is an ability to work well with others – our team, our clients, our suppliers.
A current, full, clean driver’s licence is essential.
Groundplanz encourages and supports the ongoing professional development of our team. Most of our work is in Wellington, Porirua, Hutt Valley and Kapiti. While we are based in Kapiti, it’s not essential that you are.
We typically work Monday-Friday between 7am and 5pm, with a 7:30am start on Mondays and a 3pm finish on Fridays. Hours can vary depending on the weather and the job.
